This blog is about losing weight for real. No gimmicks, no fast fixes, and no miracle weight loss stories. You won't read anything about losing 30 pounds in a month, but you will learn about losing weight for real, getting healthy, and changing your whole family's eating habits.

It's That Simple
A great old chestnut from Jack LaLanne:
I just love the illustration of "Miss Doer." The gal has got some curves!!!!
One of the things he neglects to say is that both the uphill and the downhill paths end in death. The difference might be how you get there.
I have a friend who follows a very strict physician-designed eating program (actually, she combines two). She's been convinced that eating like she does will prevent her from experiencing heath issues and was extremely surprised when one of the doctors said that there is no guarantee, but it's less likely.
This doctor's great-grandmother lived to age 106. Apparently she was in good health until her 90s when she started having some problems. This doctor blames her problems on the fact that she didn't eat as he thinks is "ideal," even though she had nine good decades! Like it or not, the body does start to wear out after a while.
I've read that your health the first 70 or so years is due to habit. After that, it's genetics.
Amazing things here. I'm very satisfied to peer your post. Thank you a lot and I am taking a look forward to contact you. Will you please drop me a mail?
What a coincidence! I'm wearing that same outfit at work today...

It's so dear because it's really not too different from Tom Venuto or any of those guys.
ReplyDeleteI need to practice Miss Doer's sunny leer :)
