As I wrote previously, I'm still ripped from my spa visit and in a completely healthy mode. Today it looks like I will be eating nothing but raw fruits and vegetables. I used my juicer to make myself a fabulous breakfast, had a raw salad for lunch, and I just made myself Tabbouleh for dinner (the hubby and kids are getting hot dogs to go with the Tabbouleh). My recipe for Tabbouleh is here: http://losingweightafter45isabitch.blogspot.com/2009/07/cooking-from-garden.html
I also ate some grapes for a snack. I don't feel deprived, or like I'm missing out on anything at all. Even with the chill up here in Connecticut, I'm not craving any kind of cooked food. In fact, I know if I can keep the raw thing going for a few days, I'll drop some weight and feel better than ever.
Which is good, because I'm having a minor surgical procedure on Friday that will knock me off my feet for a few days (the joys of female gynaecological problems once you hit that certain age!).
Hi, I just read your entire archive. Do you think an overweight 50 year old can start practicing Ashtanga?
ReplyDeleteI luv your blog it's very informative and I can't stop reading. After seeing your recipe for mango salsa I'm dying to try it. Mango is my favorite fruit and I just can't wait. Stop by and visit my blog: queenofdadomain.com
ReplyDeleteYou can start practicing Ashtanga at any age. A true Ashtanga practice is self guided, so anyone can do it.
ReplyDeleteUnquestionably believe that which you stated. Your favorite
ReplyDeletejustification appeared to be on the web the simplest thing to be aware
of. I say to you, I certainly get irked while people think about worries that
they just do not know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top and also defined out the whole thing without having side effect , people can
take a signal. Will probably be back to get more. Thanks
